This isolator is designed for mixing and sifting low volumes of APIs and excipients in a contained manner. Small containers of product are introduced into the isolator via the BIBO (bag-in bag-out) sleeve. Two operators standing at opposing side of the isolator combine APIs with excipients, then mixing them. The powder is then put through a sifter located at the outlet of the isolator, falling into a single-use bag connected to the outlet with tri-clamp.
